Communities for Adults Discovery Classes FAQs What We Believe Directions Sunday Morning Worship Services At Southside Fellowship, it's our desire to give you the greatest opportunity to begin to live out the purpose and personality of Jesus in your world. We believe the best way to do that is to help you fully understand the Gospel and the impact it can have on your daily life. The Discovery Classes provide four distinct opportunities for you to step into the life of our fellowship to learn more about us as you discover more about the life-changing Gospel. To register for any of the following classes, please indicate your interest on the tear-off portion of your Sunday bulletin, or contact Susan Salamone. Starting Point A 75-minute introduction to our ministry and some of the people who have been impacted by it. Upcoming meeting dates are as follows: (Sundays) August 10 and September 7. The class is held at 10:30 a.m. in Room 202. Registration is requested, but not required. Discovering the Gospel* A Saturday morning overview of the Gospel (who Jesus is and what He has done) and how it shapes your life and our environments here at Southside. Discovering the Gospel is offered four times each year and meets for about four hours. Upcoming meeting date is September 20. The class will be held from 8:30-12 noon in Room 202. This class is a prerequisite to the Discovering Southside Fellowship class. Registration is required. Discovering Life with Christ A four-week Sunday morning series that will give you a deeper exposure into the life-changing impact of the Gospel. This class is designed for individuals who are new to or searching for a relationship with Jesus, or for those who have been away from church for a while and would like some further explanation of the Gospel and its impact. Upcoming meeting dates are Sundays, October 5-26. The class will be held at 9 a.m. in Modular 1. Registration is required. Discovering Southside Fellowship* A five-week class focusing on how the Gospel shapes our leadership and ministries as well as a look at our values and environments for growth. During this class, you will begin to build relationships that will help launch you into community life with others in our fellowship. This class will also help you begin to discover the biblical path toward becoming a disciple of Christ. Upcoming meeting dates are Sundays, October 5-November 2. The class will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Room 202. Registration is required. *Note: Discovering the Gospel and Discovering Southside are both required classes for membership at Southside Fellowship which will be followed by a personal interview by an elder or a pastor.
