There is a lot of confusion in our society today about who
Jesus is and what kind of life He offers. Much like the early
church, we live in an age and culture full of misconceptions
about Christianity. As a result, many people are left with
negative impressions of Christians and the church as |

a whole.
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “I like your Christ, but I don’t
like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your
Christ.”
At Southside Fellowship, we are passionate about doing life
in such a way that others can’t help but see what authentic
Christianity looks like. Our hope is that misconceptions people
might have carried for a long time will begin to fade away as
we seek to live out the purpose and personality of Jesus in
our world. We long for people to be drawn back to Jesus,
seeing Him and the life He offers in a fresh, new way.
We invite people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures to come
and experience the heart-felt worship, warm fellowship, and
insightful biblical teaching that Southside Fellowship has to
offer. We don’t claim to have a corner on the market when it
comes to good churches, but we do feel we are distinctively
different from other churches you might visit in the Greenville
area. We hope to have you as our guest.

Charlie has been serving as Teaching Pastor at Southside Fellowship
since 1996. He graduated with high honors from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of
Theology (Th. M.) and earned his Doctorate of Ministry (D. Min.) from Gordon-Conwell Theological
Seminary. He authored Different Children, Different Needs which has sold over 100,000
copies and has been translated into several languages, and What God Has Always Wanted,
a children's book that was published in July of 2006. He and his wife, Karen, have three
children.
